My daughter Hannah suggested this challenge for our family. She wants to try writing more poetry, and she's hoping that this challenege will get her into the habit.
She, my daughter Emma, and I started this thing, and then my wife joined after a few days. Now we are all doing the challenge. Today is Day 9.
Winter is the time when we
Play in the snow, go out to ski!
In the Summer, we can swim in the ocean
Go to the Boat Club, see that wavy motion.
Fall is the best time of all,
With turning leaves and college football.
But Spring I do not like as much,
New pollen triggers allergies and such
The weather is not warmer yet
It's like Summer must've lost a bet.
So give me Winter, Summer, or Fall.
I do not like Spring much at all.
