ISBN: 979-8-9982084-0-9

I finally sent the barcode out to the cover artist this morning. Had been putting this off for the longest time because it involves locking some stuff in with Bowker, the folks who sell ISBN numbers to Americans. But we had to do it, so here's what I gave them.

Describe your book (350 words max):

Ten years after his dramatic fall from grace at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Frank McGuinness—once the world’s foremost expert on ultrahuman biology before reinventing himself as the infamous Dr. Necropolis—breaks out of prison. His target: his recently returned ex-wife, Gun Girl Gracie, and his former partner, the Siberian Tiger. Frank took the fall so Gracie and the Tiger could vanish with one hundred million dollars in gold bricks.

If they’re back, there’s a reason. Frank needs to know why.

FBI Special Agent Tiffany Trujillo, formerly the superhero Titania, and First Lieutenant Blaine Winters, poster-boy for the U.S. Army’s new Enhanced Forces Division, are assigned to hunt Frank down. Their high-stakes pursuit takes them from the confines of Sing Sing Correctional Facility to a chaotic Brooklyn bank robbery and onward into ever escalating ultrahuman chaos.

With a global genetic arms race looming, Tiffany and Blaine must find Frank and capture Gun Girl Gracie and the Siberian Tiger before an ultrahuman gang war starts—or worse!

Blending high-octane superhuman action, sharp syndicate intrigue, and complex character dynamics, The Return of Dr. Necropolis delivers a thrilling post-superhero exploration of identity, coercion, and control in a world where yesterday's villains might just be today's necessary force.

I'm not totally sure who can see this book description. Book retailers, obviously, but I'm not sure who else. Anyway, I tried to let folks know what the book is without giving away too much spoilery stuff. Here's hoping.

Biography (350 words max):

Danno Cabeza is an engineer, adventurer, sportswriter, memoirist, and novelist. A 1995 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he was a two-time Patriot League champion swimmer before he commissioned into the U.S. Army as an Armor Officer. Following his military service, he has spent more than twenty-five years working as an electrical engineer in New York City. Cabeza is the Managing Partner and Editor of As For Football LLC, covering Army West Point sports and American Conference college football. He is the author of a critically acclaimed memoir about his military upbringing and collegiate athletics, as well as The Return of Dr. Necropolis, a gritty post-superhero crime novel. When he isn't writing, engineering, or swimming four days a week, he can often be found snowboarding in Vermont.

This is a variation of the biography I use on PodMatch. Folks have gotten really interested in my life story based on that PodMatch bio, so here's hoping...

What do you think, friends? Anybody gonna care about this thing?
