I took this picture at the National Gallery a couple of years ago and then filtered it this afternoon. Having nothing better to post today, this is it.
In the Greek pantheon, Hermes is the god of messengers, travelers, and thieves and is the closest thing to a trickster god that the ancient Greeks possessed.
