Hardly a shocking result. They've been dominant all tournament.
Great Britain's women took bronze.

Saw that movie back when I was a 1LT(Promotable). Made a bunch of the other guys in my Advanced Course Small Group go, and we all enjoyed it immensely.
You ask me, this version is a substantial improvement on the Glenn Close original.

And my favorite from Nuzzi's live-blogging of the press conference:
Directly after Christie says that today is more about constituents than it is about him, he recalls being written about in TIME.

Part of me thinks #DnDNext should experiment with a wildly different model than 3 core books. Small or free core, 1/3
— Alphastream (@Alphastream) February 20, 2014
, or core book plus digital PC add-ons for builds, or Neverwinter style rules+DM+adventure+Classes. 2/3 #DnDNext
— Alphastream (@Alphastream) February 20, 2014
But, there is also a lot of sense in the classic and robust 3-core-books model. DnD is the right game for that. #DnDNext 3/3

.@Dan_T_Head Though, perhaps falsely. Many bought Red Box, then confused bought all sorts of Basic/ADnD material.

Fair point. I think I did that, too.
That said, I've love to see a one-stop-shop for basic rules with D&D Next. Because, bottom line, I'd like to see how my kids take to it before making some huge investment. Fact is, I just don't have the time to play much on my own anymore.
