Junior Seau Died Yesterday...
...apparently from suicide. As a longtime Chargers fan, I'm sad and disappointed. My favorite memory of him was watching him in the AFC Championship Game in 1995, when the Chargers beat the Steelers and went on to make their only Super Bowl appearance.

I remember that game, I think. The chargers were 3rd and 1 on the 12 yard line, and Marion Butts ended up running it in for a touchdown. :P
ReplyDeleteThat I don't remember. But I do remember that Seau was hurt, and that he played the game of his life in spite of the injury. I also remember how happy he and the rest of the team looked when they made the Super Bowl.
