Driving to Vacationland

Vacation is finally here!  We got up at 3:30 and hit the road well before 5:00. Hit traffic before we'd gone five full miles. Soon enough, though, we were on our way.

I took this shot when we hit the Rest Stop in New Hampshire. 

This the bridge over the river into Maine. 

We stopped for breakfast in Freeport, home of L.L. Bean, and that's where we wound up eating. Turns out Freeport is more of a "lunch" town. 

We're still about 2.5 hours from the cabin, but at least now it's Sally's turn to drive.
