Cam is the man! He looked good today! #GoArmy https://t.co/Bb0Kw6feyg— Danno E. Cabeza (@Dan_T_Head) October 14, 2018
Sadly for him (because he looked very good), Hopkins was incredible today and has been pretty much all season.— Brave Old Army Blog (@BraveOlArmyBlog) October 14, 2018
As @BraveOldArmyBlog pointed out on Twitter, QB Cam Thomas looks good. And that's great. But he's in no danger of starting anytime soon because QB Kelvin Hopkins Jr looks amazing in this offense. He ran for 3 touchdowns and threw for another, and he finally got credit for the long touchdown run that's been getting called back in recent weeks.
From ESPN, this pretty much says it all:
ESPN Team Stats |
Let's turn the page:
Army P(Wins) vs. the Schedule: Week 7 |
Miami (Ohio) won yesterday, and so did Eastern Michigan. Both those teams have improved over the course of the season. Neither will be an easy-out. The Eagles, especially, will be tough in their own building, though the Miami game is next on the schedule.
After that comes Air Force, and they suddenly look really good. Their record doesn't show it, but they've played some pretty good football these past two weeks.
Finally, the Colgate game might just be the hardest left on the schedule. The Red Raiders haven't lost yet, and frankly, P(Wins) doesn't think they're gonna lose.

Meanwhile...
Garrett Lewis is starting at quarterback while Malcolm Perry will start at slotback. #NavyFootball— Bill Wagner (@BWagner_CapGaz) October 13, 2018
I thought their offense looked better, and that as a slotback, Perry is better able to dictate to opposing defenses. Temple still managed to keep it under control, but if they'd played like this last week, they wouldn't have gotten smoked quite so bad by the Zoomies.
The next 4 @NavyFB opponents are currently a combined 24-1. 😲 @salinterdonato @Dan_T_Head @DrunkOldGrad #GoArmy— Austin Luher (@goarmygolf) October 14, 2018
And Navy blows another lead, falling to Temple 24-17 in Annapolis. To say the Mids’ season is teetering on the brink at 2-4 overall is an understatement.— YardsandStripes (@YardsandStripes) October 13, 2018
Not sure where 5 wins will come from with the schedule remaining in order to get bowl eligible. #AnchorsAweigh
Me neither.
That's all I've got, folks. Enjoy the win!
Go Army! Beat Miami-Ohio!!!
