Arizona at Hawai’i (+13)
Pick: Hawai’i (+13)
I said this was the game of the week, and I'm gonna stand by that. Hawai'i wins 45-38 despite QB Cole MacDonald throwing six picks and Hawai'i running backs fumbling twice.
If you haven't seen it, check the extended highlights.
Florida (-7.5) vs. Miami
Pick: Under 47 points
I expect this to start ugly, with the Gators getting their shit together first.
That's pretty much what happened. Neither team played particularly well overall, but Florida's defense got it together in time to salvage the win.
Villanova at Colgate (-3.5)
Pick: Colgate (-3.5)
I believe in the Red Raiders, but this game scares me. The Patriot has had some decent teams from time to time, but no one’s arguing that they’re the tops of the FCS. Meanwhile, ‘Nova has a history of playing the best and winning.
Nova absolutely smashed Colgate. Ugh.
But 2/3 on opening weekend? In the immortal words of Vince Young, "Can't nobody tell me nothin'."
