Jacob Mars would probably put a bullet in your head if you called him a "whore", but in simple terms, that's what he is. After getting downsized from the CIA, he takes any job he can to pay his debts and alimony. He isn't a bad guy by nature, but out of necessity, he has to live a life where things don't matter, as long as he gets paid. His motto, simply stated: "Every man has his price."

I’ve not read a lot of stuff from Zenescope, but I’m apparently still on their reviewer’s list from back in the day.  In any case, the book looks like an intriguing read at the least, so look for my review of it sometime next week.

·         The Giants lost last night at home.  Man, that sucks.

That said, I confess that I only watched the first half.  First off, those night games are just way too late for me.  And secondly, yuck.  That was an ugly, ugly game.

·         Finally, man, I’ve been exhausted all week.  I’m starting to feel like myself again, but yikes!  No fun.  I’m guessing that after going four-and-a-half weeks of hard training without a break, I just didn’t give myself enough time to recover coming off a five-week break in my training routine, and that left me tired.  But it’s also possible that I just hit a lazy patch.  Or simply lost motivation.  Who knows?  In any event, it’s been about a week since I worked out, and I’m feeling better, but I still feel like I could sleep for a week.

Did that even make sense?
